Accessibility statement
Website Accessibility
At Tallinn Water, it is important to us that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with special needs.
At present, our website is partially accessible in accordance with the European Union accessibility standard EN 301 549. This means that we continuously add, improve, and adapt content over time so that all menus, contact details, and enquiry forms can be used with screen readers.
The purpose of the accessibility statement is to describe the compliance of a website or mobile application with accessibility requirements and to provide accessibility-related information to everyone who may need it. Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 establishes the requirements for the preparation of a detailed and clear accessibility statement.
Compliance with Requirements
Conformity with the Guidelines
This website/mobile application partially complies with accessibility requirements for the reasons listed below.
We are aware that some content and functionalities are not accessible and do not meet the required standards.
Some images in our news or consumer advice posts lack text descriptions. Our videos do not have subtitles or audio descriptions. Keyboard-only users are not able to navigate within the map application.
Some content references and environments originate from third parties, such as the base layer of the map application or the job vacancies platform, over whose accessibility we have no control.
We are continuously working on improving our web content and plan to eliminate these shortcomings by no later than September 2027.
