We are the largest water utility in Estonia
We create a better life with clean water
We provide 24/7 water and wastewater services to around 25,000 customers and 500,000 end-consumers in Tallinn and its surrounding area. This means that we are responsible for ensuring that more than a third of the Estonian population has access to reliable, high-quality water and wastewater services.
Every day, we are working hard to ensure that Tallinners have access to high-quality drinking water and that water services remain affordable. We are there for our customers and respond to enquiries quickly.
We believe it is important to raise environmental awareness and emphasise the role of tap water as a clean, environmentally sustainable and affordable source of drinking water.
Vital service provider
Our service area is covered with facilities and pipes needed to operate water services. Tallinn and its surrounding municipalities have around 3,000 kilometres of pipes. If these were connected in a single line, they would extend further than Rome.
Vision and mission
We create a better life with clean water.
We connect people to the vital cycle of water.

To make our vision a reality, we have set five strategic objectives for 2023–2028, that form the pillars of our business.
- Sustainable urban development
- Reducing environmental impact
- Ensuring service continuity
- Affordable prices
- Employee satisfaction and strong shareholder relations
Freshness all around you
We are there when the community comes together – providing fresh water from public taps across the city during the summer season, supporting public events with drinking water tanks, and joining initiatives that reach out to those with fewer opportunities.
At the same time, we are bringing the meaning of water closer to young people. After all, water is life and looking after it is a fascinating task.
It is important for us that people understand how drinking water gets to their taps, how it is cleaned and returned to the environment. Tap water is our common wealth – clean, nature-friendly and affordable.
Choosing a glass of tap water is a choice that's good for both your health and the environment.
Freshness all around you — every day, for life, everywhere.
